Summary
I aim to create a supportive and open supervisory relationship in which you may freely explore all aspects of your client work in a safe setting. Understanding and exploring your own processes in your relationships with clients is something I regard as integral to the supervision process.
As a trained and qualified supervisor with 12 years experience, I work with counsellors, psychotherapists and other healthcare professionals addressing a wide range of client issues in different settings.
My supervision practice is firmly rooted in the NCPS's (National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society's) Code of Ethics.
Meeting
I offer an initial exploratory meeting that allows us to explore what you are looking for in a supervisory relationship. In turn, I can explain how I work and my approach to supervision, which is based on Person-Centred and Existential principles. We can also discuss a Supervision Agreement that sets out the boundaries of the supervisory relationship.
Qualifications & Experience
I gained Senior Accreditation with the BACP in 2014, and hold a post-graduate certificate in supervision. I am currently in full-time private practice, working with individual clients and supervisees.
Please see list of additional training and qualifications.
